- Project Panel: This is where you import and organize all your media, sequences and titles.
- Sequence/Timeline: This is where you combine all your media in the order you want them to play back.
- Source Monitor: This is like your cutting board where you can do a rough trimming of your media before you put it on the sequence
- Program Monitor: This is where you can watch what the finished video will look like.
- Effects: This is where you can find transitions and other audio/video effects
- Effects Control: This is where you can control the properties off your media and effects
- Tools: This panel lets you switch between the various tools available.
