Source Monitor Editing Quick Tips: This is an efficient way to quickly create a rough cut and my preferred method of editing.
- Setting In/Out Points in the Source monitor is a great way to build a rough cut
- Insert Edit places your clip on the timeline at the playhead and move the rest of the media down on the timeline
- Overlay Edit places your clip on the timeline at the playhead and overwrites the media currently in place
- Audio Only/Video Only buttons allow you to bring just this part of a clip onto the timeline.
- Setting in/out points and markers
- Export Frame Button is handy for turning a single frame of your video into a .jpg still image (camera icon)
